What is Skynet

In cooperation with Lilienthal, BWAirways founded skyNet-Alliance in 2011 for the purpose of providing customers with better service, worldwide. Alliance members come together to offer smooth connections across a vast global network of 150 thousand flights to more than 1,300 destinations. It is our aim to maintain Quality, Flexibility and Security to each destination airport of our network.

Your benefit

To make air travel even easier, the Skynet members have coordinated their schedules, which often shortens the overall journey time for passengers switching from one Skynet airline to another on connecting flights. Moreover, customers receive a boarding pass for onwards flights, even if they fly on with a different Skynet member. Obviously your luggage will be checked through to your final destination, so that you dont have to carry any bags during your journey.

As members of Skynet frequent flyer programmes, passengers can redeem mileage accruals across the entire alliance network. So they rise to a higher status essentially faster than they would in any individual frequent flyer programme.

Achieving more together

Integration in a global network reduces the costs of Skynet-Airlines and enables them to harness synergies to further improve their customer services. The airlines are usually accommodated under one roof, for example, with common check-in facilities in the same terminal and mutual access to their lounges.
